Funding boost for international collaboration between Japan and Australia

A/Prof Raymond Wong was jointly awarded the JSPS-University of Melbourne Open Partnership Joint Research Projects grant to strengthen a collaborative stem cell research program with researchers at RIKEN, Japan.

The international collaborative project will support research exchange between Japan and Australia to work on retinal regeneration research.

"We are excited about the prospect of collaborating with our experts in Japan to develop new approach to stimulate retinal regeneration ', says A/Prof Wong.
