Funding boost to develop new treatment for Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy

A/Prof Raymond Wong was part of a collaborative team with scientists and clinicians at University of New South Wales, University of Western Australia and Harvard University (USA) that was awarded funding from the Mito Foundation to investigate the use of reprogramming method to enhance mitochondrial function in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON).
